Sticky rice with mango
In Chiang Mai, somebody suggested to try the traditional dessert sweet sticky rice with mango or Khao Neeo Mamuang.
During one of our many strolls through the city, we discovered a lovely place: Moon Pie. It immediately caught our attention because of the open and modern interior. You had the option to sit inside (and enjoy the airconditioning – very welcome with 38 degrees in the sun) or to sit outside on the deck. But either way you could still observe the life on the street, since the outside walls were made of glass.
I absolutely loved the traditional dessert I had here: the fresh mango in combination with the coconut milk and the crunchy pastry was delicious! You should definitely try this dish!

We returned to Moon Pie almost every day: the people were so friendly and the service there was excellent. The food and coffees we had were really nice, we also loved to have a fresh coconut on the deck and watch people pass by.
